Information Collection and Use

Personal Information, as used in this policy, refers to information that tells us specifically who you are, such as your name, phone number, address, or email. When you provide information to Move Companion, the information provided is used to provide the service for which you have registered. The services you have chosen to use may require some or all of your Personal Information to be used by Move Companion to provide such services, and, solely to service your request or with your consent certain Personally Identifiable Information may be shared with other parties. For example, Personally Identifiable Information will allow us to refer a top rated Realtor® to assist you in buying or selling a home.

Information Distribution

As a customer of Move Companion, you consent to receive emails about the services from Move Companion and communication regarding your request. Move Companion gives you the opportunity to unsubscribe to general email communication from us. Clear directions on how to unsubscribe will appear in the email messages we send to you. Move Companion reserves the right to send a one-time registration confirmation email, and Service Alert messages to its customers to inform them of services changes or issues with the Terms of Use.

Any personal information provided to Move Companion will be used for the purpose of delivering our services. Move Companion will not share, rent, or sell your information to third parties except to provide the services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

• We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Move Companion under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help us communicate with you about offers from Move Companion and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Move Companion's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if Move Companion is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Move Companion will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Confidentiality and Security

Move Companion's technology platform is supported by an industry standard firewall and password protection system. Our security and privacy policies are reviewed and enhanced as necessary.

Move Companion limits access to your personal information to authorized employees that are required to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to perform their assigned roles. Only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
